What to expect when you choose me:
Capturing your wedding day should be a fun, lighthearted and memorable experience. I love getting to know new people, so have no problems blending in as a guest to capture those candid moments, and being the fly on the wall for all of your important parts of your day, capturing them without being intrusive. We’ll have a few opportunities to steal some time away in private for those all important couples shots, where we get to photograph you both enjoying your newly married joy. Nothing is too bothersome for me, be that crawling around to get the perfect angle, trekking through hills and fields, and days spent running around all over the place to capture as much as possible. I love the weird and the wonderful, no request will be too crazy for me. It’s also common for people to not enjoy their photo being taken, so leave it to me to come up with pose ideas and prompts.
If you choose to get the full package:
On the day, I’ll arrive with plenty of time to scout out the photo locations on site, taking shots of the grounds, and finding you getting ready with your bridal party. I’ll take photos of the small details like invites and the dresses. When your hair isn’t half un-brushed, I’ll start getting photos of you. We’ll do a short photoshoot of you getting your dress on, friends and family helping you with some final touches, and you with your lovely bridesmaids. If the groomsmen are in the same location, photos of them getting ready are possible too. We’ll capture the moments before you walk down the aisle, be that a grand entry to the property with a lavish lift, a walk down the halls of an estate, or however else you get from your makeup table to the end of the aisle. I’ll of course be capturing the ceremony entry, first look between you and your husband or wife, vows, and first kiss. One of the highlights of the day is the post ceremony excitement of the confetti toss. That’s only the beginning of the day, we still have cocktail hour, guest candids, stolen moments of quiet for a couples shoot, speeches, the meal, first dances, cake cutting, more candids when everyone has loosened up with food and drinks, and of course, your grand exit.
Shorter packages:
A shorter day doesn’t mean less excitement. I can tailor the day to you if there are only certain things you’d like photographed. We can absolutely still pack the shorter day full of smiles and beautiful photos. The day can be as short or as long as you’d like, so please get in touch with me for a custom quote if my listed packages aren’t what you’re looking for.
